Young, first-time employees need to learn the value of not burning bridges before the first job!
We live and work in a very different world. While you may not always agree with the procedures and practices of your workplace, it’s best not to ‘demonize’ your present position before and after you leave. Who knows, you may want to return to that employer after you have resigned. In fact, your former employer may want you back to train new workers or conduct a workshop or seminar. It won’t happen if you have discussed your hatred for your last workplace with everyone you know. Some jobs have implemented a “no rehires” policy, so think before you jump ship and use common sense when discussing your position with others. Remember, there are pros and cons in all careers.
The axe forgets; the tree remembers.
