About Dr. Lynda J. Mubarak

lynda-mubarak-headshot-7-2018Dr. Mubarak is a native Texan and grew up in Waco and Ft. Worth, Texas. She is a freelance writer and retired public school teacher with 37 years experience in special education and adult education. Dr. Mubarak has served as a crisis intervention teacher, a special education facilitator, private school administrator, and student teacher supervisor. For many years Dr. Lynda J. Mubarak wrote educational and inspirational articles while her husband, colleagues, and friends urged her to continue her passion. After retiring Lynda decided to follow her friends and relatives advice, and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. She loves to travel, live theater, contemporary music history, and she participates in crossword puzzle competitions. Lynda is quietly working on several projects that emphasize the importance of community service and early literacy.
